WHAT WE DO
TA focuses on three main components when assisting and helping companies who import and export goods. These are:
GUIDANCE.
Many UK companies currently import goods, paying customs duties and may not realise that opportunities are available to reduce these costs.
TA guides companies through the often confusing schemes and procedures that are available to importers and exporters, ensuring that they provide benefits to our clients.
COMPLIANCE.
With the authorities under pressure to reduce their costs, the introduction of simplified procedures and customs policy to reduce their checks at the borders, this means that the emphasis on getting things right, rests with the importer.
If customs find any errors, they have the options of demanding retrospective payment of customs duties, interest and issue punitive fines. TA can provide audits, health checks to ensure that a company who imports and/or exports goods is compliant with all areas of the customs law.
SAVINGS.
Whilst many companies routinely analyse their processes to establish whether any savings can be made, a lot of companies are unaware that there are schemes and processes available to them.
These may allow them to reduce the customs duties they pay for imported goods, and in some cases, reclaim previously overpaid customs duties.
